Our business diagnostic is an AI-assisted conversation. What you type or say there — including live voice transcription while the microphone is on — is processed by AI providers (currently Anthropic and OpenAI) to run the conversation, and the conversation, the facts extracted from it, and any estimate it produces are saved so a member of our team can review them, follow up if you ask us to, and improve the tool. Microphone audio is used only for live transcription while you have it turned on; we keep the transcript, not a recording.

The diagnostic is stored with technical details such as your browser type and the page you came from. If you enter your email to receive your results, we treat that as an inquiry under this policy. Please do not enter passwords, full account numbers, or other sensitive personal information into the diagnostic.

A copy of your in-progress session may also be kept in your own browser's local storage so you can resume it later; you can clear it at any time through your browser or the diagnostic's start-over control.

If you choose to connect QuickBooks for an instant bookkeeping quote, the connection is read-only and used to assess the state and volume of your books so we can produce the quote. We do not make changes to your QuickBooks data, and the connection is disconnected automatically when the quote is complete. Connecting is always optional — you can answer a few questions instead.
